Proposed Changes to Chapter By-Laws
During the summer, the Chapter officers, acting as a committee of the whole, began a review to revise the By-Laws which were last updated in 2017.
At the October 30 meeting, the proposed changes were presented to the member councils. The proposed changes are now posted for review by all member councils. The posted copy contains a “PRELIMINARY” watermark.
The proposed changes will be voted upon at the January 30, 2024 meeting. This meeting will be hosted by Madonna Council 520 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, Tenafly. If the proposed changes are accepted at the January 30, 2024 meeting, the revised By-Laws will take effect at 12:01 AM, January 31, 2024.
