At the March 21 meeting, the topic of folding the Chapter into the Bergen Federation was brought up. After some time and discussion by several brothers in attendance, it was decided that for the time being, the Chapter will remain a separate entity from the Bergen Federation. The By-Laws Committee will start its review of the By-Laws and they hope to have a draft ready for the May 16 meeting.
At this meeting, the special election was held to officially elect Chairman-Pro Tem Bob Tarantula and Treasurer Pro-Tem Don Ulisse to their respective offices.
A Nominating Committee is being assembled to compose the slate of officers for the Chapter's 65th year. The committee will make its report at the May meeting with the election taking place at the June 20 meeting.

"The primary purpose of the Organization is to assist in every way, financial or otherwise, cases of genuine distress amongst the Brother Knights in good standing of affiliated councils. It shall consider and promote all matters of general Catholic and patriotic interest and adopt such measures as shall be deemed necessary to promote same, and encourage the participation of affiliated councils in the furtherance of these purposes."
